I have attached an Inventor example. I have two instances of "board" in the "assembly", and I want to have two pins connecting the two. Note that the two objects I want to connect may not be the same size or shape as shown in this simple example. So, I add the two pins with an "Insert" constraint to the corresponding holes in the one board. Now, I add the second board. I constrain the first pin using the "Insert" constraint.
